Franziska graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich in 2006, where she also received her DVM. She then joined a big referral clinic in south Germany. In 2010 she enrolled in a two-year rotating internship and a 3 year residency program in small animal oncology at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, including an externship at Cambridge University, United-Kingdom. After working as Clinical Oncologist at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich she became a Diplomate in Small Animal Oncology in 2017. Since 2018 she is head of the oncology service at Kleintierspezialisten Berlin. In addition, she is consulting for IDEXX Germany and referral hospitals in Germany.
