She obtained her veterinary degree in 2003 and her PhD in animal nutrition in 2011 by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She is board certified in veterinary nutrition by the by the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition, ECVCN (EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition) since 2011, after a residency period in the Fundación Hospital Clínic Veterinari (UAB) where she was working as clinical nutritionist until 2012. She moved to Nantes in France where she worked as small animal nutritionist at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vétérinaire d’Oniris (CHUV, Nantes). She is the founder and a consultant of Expert Pet Nutrition. She obtained her PhD (2011) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain. She is specialist clinician for different reference veterinary hospitals in Europe and she is part of the board of the working group in clinical nutrition of AVEPA (Asociación de Veterinarios Especialistas en Pequeños animales), Spain.
