Virginia graduated from Complutense University of Madrid in 2014. Then, Virginia worked for three years in a Cardiology Reference Centre in Madrid. In 2016 she obtained a certificate in small animals Cardiology by the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate studies (ISVPS) and another certificate in Cardiology by the Complutense University of Madrid.
In 2017, Virginia completed a rotating internship in a large multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Barcelona, where she developed a special interest in internal medicine. In 2018, she moved to the UK where she was enrolled in a rotating internship followed by a specialist internship in internal medicine. In 2020, she returned to Spain to perform her residency training becoming European Diplomate in Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2023. Virginia is currently working in a private hospital in Ireland.
Virginia has clinical interest in all aspects of small animals internal medicine, especially in Endocrinology.
