For a 2nd opinion, there are two possibilities for getting the samples to our professionals. First: scanning the slides and uploading them directly on Vetexpertise platform. This method is the one advised by Vetexpertise and the only one that ensures compliance with a response time of 24 to 72 hours. The slide scan can be requested directly from the anatomopathology laboratory. Second: if this is not possible, you can order the slides from the anatomopathology laboratory and send them by post to an address provided by Vetexpertise. In the second case, please contact

Please be aware that we only do anatomic pathology, meaning that no clinical pathology cases (e.g. cytology) should be submitted on the website.
The clinical case should be detailed, with as much information as possible, to ensure an effective response by the specialist. When making a submission you should select or fill in the fields for data and general anamnesis, general physical status examination, clinical signs, complementary methods of diagnosis, treatment, and presumptive diagnosis. Throughout the submission process, you have several fields for your observations. In addition, in the various fields, there are places to upload audio files, images, videos, DICOM, PDF, etc.
